Will it be possible for me to rotate at some high-level programs and possibly match at one? I mainly give my scores to show that they are well above average, and they will not hinder my application. Is there still enough stigma associated with DO that I will find it considerably difficult? I would appreciate any input from someone with personal experience in this matter. Thanks!

Replied by on topic I regret to say this,
I regret to say this, but the cut off this year for competative Ortho spots is 259. Maybe you should try something else like FP????

Honestly, I think you are fine.

Replied by on topic don't kid yourself that DO's
don't kid yourself that DO's are not (unjustly) stigmatized by allopathic programs. the assumption (unjustly) is often that you went to a DO program because you couldn't get into a 'real' med school. if it were me, i'd be clear about this topic in your personal statement, because your scores will at least get your application opened. you obviously have the horsepower to survive anywhere (except for that one B you got - slacker). but beware, no one is safe in the ortho match, md or do.
