As far as the face time thing goes, that is true MOST of the time... BUT, Ill tell you at the program I am at (PGY1 currently) 2 out of the 3 of us did not rotate. 10 interviewed for my class, 8 of which rotated.. This year we interviewed 10 again, 9 of which rotated.

I interviewed at 2 places that I did not rotate, got asked to a 3rd, and declined.

Des Peres doesnt care if you rotate. All the Prog Dir cares about is Boards. He has no problem telling ppl that either.

Both Dressler and I received interviews last year...not this year...as did a number of other guys know. It's too bad Des Peres didn't this year as I have heard good things about the program

Yes, from what I understand, they had their people before apps even went in.
