Ok i'm stupid, which program is Grandview...I was looking through the DO programs and couldn't figure this out, I think there is a MD program in Grandview though...

On a side note, just spoke with a PD at a DO ortho program this past week. He said that they had 100+ applications and there are only 2 things he considers when reviewing apps. You need a 600+ COMLEX and the most important one was how you interact with the program (ie. did the residents like you, were you a hard worker, your attitude, ect.)
My program had taken several applicants that have not rotated. These applicants had two things going for them:
1) they usually had very strong applications
2) our selection among the applicants that had rotated with us were average or below
With that said we received about 80-90 apps last year for three spots. so you should apply to every program even if you didnt rotate. You never know how things will work out. Your best bet is at the programs you rotate at. Don't be a tool, make yourself useful, and try to be yourself. Its easy to see who the phoneys are (usually).
Im at Botsford, and we interview/accept non-rotators.. Im a PGY1, and 2 of the 3 in my class didnt rotate. I interviewed at St Louis with no rotation, and asked to interview at Columbus w/ no rotation.
In Cbus....offered interviews at St Louis, St. John, and York without rotation. One of the director's actually called me up. This obviously depends on your app. Best bet=rotate
