I'm a 3rd year setting up away rotations. One of the things I want to look at is whether or not the program has a good family medicine program in the same hospital or nearby. My girlfriend/soon to be fiancee will be doing family medicine. She is a year behind me, and she will have to follow me wherever I go and I don't totally want to screw her with a terrible family residency or stick one of us with a crazy commute. Any recommendations? She's very competitive (top of her class, great personality), so I don't think she'll have any problems getting into good family programs.
