Sub-I was created by doctorv
So my school allows me to do 3 electives in a certain.field(ortho in this case). however I can do two sub-I's in ortho. I was wondering if anybody has done a Sub-I or done any orthopedic specialty as a 4th yr at any osteopathic programs. Thank you

My school gives you a combination of 4 electives and 2 sub-I's, of which only four total can be in the same specialty (in this case ortho). We had to schedule our own electives/sub-I's by calling the residency coordinators. So just let them know you want to schedule an audition or sub-I and whatever your institution wants to schedule it as sub-I vs. elective would be up to them. I don't think the programs make the distinction and assume that since you are there during audition season that you are interested in their program. I dont know though if your institution grades the two differently, mine did not (only satisfactory or unsatisfactory, no honors).
