DO with MD Fantasy and a Question

While Do's do take a diffrent certification exam they can also take usmle if they wish. We had a good DO student Rotate at our program and was ranked fairly highly. The major issue that kept him from being ranked higher was that while he had good grades, the DO exams scores could not be compared to Usmle scores. So I think that if a DO student wants to get a spot in an MD program it would be in his best interest to ACE step I and II. What can a program director say about the academic qualifications of a DO student that get > 240?
