PGY 1 or PGY 2 Position Available - LSU Health Shreveport Orthopaedic Surgery

Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Shreveport, in Shreveport, LA has a PGY-1 or PGY 2 opening in its 5-year categorical program, to start July 1, 2023. 

Qualified applicants must be in good academic standing in an ACGME accredited program and will have completed their PGY-1 surgical or orthopaedic internship year by June 30, 2023.  

Interested candidates should submit the following information: 

• Current CV 
• Copy of medical school transcript 
• Personal statement including reason for leaving current program and research publications 
• Two letters of recommendation

• If applicable:
• ACGME operative case log to date 
• Copy of PGY-1 block schedule, including rotation descriptions and dates 
• Copy of OITE scores 
• Milestone evaluation summaries 
• Recommendation letter from current program director verifying current standing in the program  

• Two additional letters of recommendation from faculty in current program.
