Research Fellowship Program: Orthopedic Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital is offering two, one-year-long clinical research awards for medical school students interested in pursuing a career in orthopedic surgery. We aim to mentor medical students as they progress to an orthopedic surgery residency program and beyond.

Orthopedic residency selection has become increasingly competitive and medical students are eager to pursue opportunities that expose them to the field while building their resumes. Medical students interested in orthopedics are highly motivated and can be very productive in research endeavors if given the opportunity. This research fellowship will also offer exposure to clinical care in the ambulatory and surgical setting, and we are open to supporting travel to a regional conference for first author abstracts and/or manuscripts (up to $2,000).
