We are extending an invitation to apply for our 1-year research position in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.  We have one position available each year and you will be our only research fellow in the Department.

THIS POSITION IS FOR AN UNMATCHED MS4 OR MS3 PLANNING TO APPLY IN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY

JOB TITLE: Orthopaedic Surgery Department Research Assistant

LOCATION: George Washington University, Washington, DC

TIME: 1 year position starting ~May 2025

SALARY: the position is funded with an annual salary of ~$40,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at George Washington University is accepting applications from medical students who are looking to expand their research experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery.  The research assistant will work closely with all the clinical faculty and will coordinate all projects in the Department.  The research assistant is integrated into the Department and is a participant in the resident education program.
