2026-2027 -Year PAID Orthopaedic Surgery Scribe/Research Fellowship with an Orthopaedic Surgery Program Director

Calling all 3rd/4th year medical students interested in Orthopaedic Surgery Residency and those who went unMATCHed for a 1-Year PAID Orthopaedic Surgery Scribe/Research Fellowship with an Orthopaedic Surgery Program Director. 

You will be working 1-on-1, daily with a current Orthopaedic Surgery Program Director and Orthopaedic Surgery Residents. This is an in-person position in Baltimore, MD with starting from April 1, 2026 to April 1, 2027. This is a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with a current Orthopaedic Surgery Program Director and Residents. 

Duties: 

-Document clinic encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR) 

-Help prepare corticosteroid injections, bracing, splinting, casting, etc

-Participate in daily didactics and fracture conference with the Orthopaedic Surgery Residents  

-Shadow in the clinic and operating room (OR) 

-Opportunity for Clinical Research, Conference Abstract Posters/Podiums, and Publications (depending on performance)

Requirements: 

-Strong Work-Ethic

-Dependable

-Scribe Experience preferred but not required (e.g. ScribeAmerica, etc)

-US MD/DO students preferred; US-IMG students also invited to apply 

-Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel
