2025-2026 Cedars-Sinai Department of Neurosurgery - Spine Research Fellowship
We invite medical students, graduate students, and other interested applicants to apply for a paid, year-long research fellowship position at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Research fellows will have the unique opportunity work closely with Dr. Tuchman, Dr. Walker, and other spine surgeons, residents, and fellows at Cedars-Sinai Spine Center. Research will include national database research, single-institution studies, meta-analyses and systematic reviews.

Title: Clinical Research Associate
Duration: 1 year (recommended May 2025-May 2026, but negotiable)

Responsibilities include:
- Production of abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts
- Developing research questions and hypotheses
- Performing comprehensive literature reviews
- Regular research meetings with Dr. Tuchman and Dr. Walker, and interface with residents, fellows, and other faculty
Benefits of the position:
- Fellows should expect to have several peer-reviewed publications by the end of the research year, and will have the opportunity to be 1st author on papers in which they significantly contribute to
