2026-2027 UC Davis Postdoctoral Scholar Position - Clinical Orthopaedic Research

DESCRIPTION
UC Davis Health School of Medicine Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, an academic/clinical department, encompassing several sub-specialties, working to achieve excellence in patient care, research and public service. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery invites applications from qualified candidates for a Postdoctoral Scholar position (full-time) in clinical orthopaedic research. This research position will bridge orthopaedics and public health sciences. We aim to recruit outstanding individuals with the appropriate background and/or experience, capable of interacting with our many collaborators, and working with minimal supervision.

Candidates should have a MD or PhD degree (or equivalent degree) in a field that meet the needs of the department. Postdoctoral scholars are evaluated for employment based on evidence of contribution to a research program, authorship/acknowledgment in peer-reviewed publications and conference papers, involvement in grant applications, active dissemination of information, and other evidence of expertise. The Postdoctoral scholar will maintain professional competence and may perform university and public service.
