UC Irvine’s Endoscopic Spine Program is the first of its kind within the University of California system and among the early programs nationally to offer a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to minimally invasive spine care. Leveraging advanced endoscopic technology, an outpatient surgical model, and a multidisciplinary team led by Dr. Don Park, the program is committed to advancing spine surgery while delivering efficient, effective, and compassionate care.

The UC Irvine Endoscopic Spine Research Fellow will engage in a high-volume, collaborative research environment, with the opportunity to participate in approximately 20–30 clinical and outcomes-based research projects. Fellows will work closely with UC Irvine faculty and principal investigators on projects spanning both domestic and international collaborations. Dedicated mentorship is provided for the orthopaedic surgery residency application process, as well as long-term academic and clinical career development. A monthly stipend of $1,500 is provided.
