no bitters? i guess i'll go first. i've only interviewed at Peninsula, so i don't have much to contribute yet. but this was only for the internship as the residency is not tracked. but if you tell them you're interested in ortho, they have some of the ortho residents come in to the interview. the PD may or may not be there, but the DME is the main interviewer. the interview really varies from person to person. you may get one that is layed back and relaxed without pimping or one that tests your resolve in becoming an orthopedist or physician. so be ready for anything. it all depends which residents are there, what mood the DME is in, etc. from what i hear, you have another interview for the actual ortho residency early during your internship with the PD, residents, and other attendings where you will most likely get pimped and have to read xrays for them. it's quite the gauntlet, but i guess it's worth it if you make it.
