Hey everyone, hope all is going well with interview season and all your hopes and dreams are coming true. I was wondering about these Doximity rankings. How are you all using them in accepting/rejecting interviews, and thinking about a potential rank list? Are they pretty legit rankings? Or should we not really care about them? Thanks!
They have a link that provides the methodology on how the rankings were formulated. Read that, then you'll know why the answer to your question should be "no."

a highly ranked orthopaedic department doesn't always correlate with a good residency experience

I would highly disregard any ranking system of residencies put together by anyone other than former residents or any orthopedic society.

In other words no

Exactly as above. Any ranking systems usually utilize metrics that have nothing to do with orthopedic education. Especially, news magazines like US News.

Rather than the rankings, I think the reviews can be highly useful.

The rankings can give a sense of the programs but are highly flawed. I don't think anyone in their right mind would rank Hopkins above Jefferson or Cleveland clinic above Columbia
