The HSS Sports Medicine Institute invites medical students taking a research year between 3rd and 4th year of medical school to apply for a Sports Medicine Medical Student Mentorship and Research Program. A yearlong program designed to introduce medical students to formal training in all aspects of sports medicine research including, but not limited to, clinical shadowing opportunities, mentored research in clinical, registry, basic science, and translational research projects, attendance at weekly lectures/presentations, and shadowing of attendings.
