In the tradition of orthogate, I figured it was time to start another thread for invites.

More dates for Nebraska. In an email on 11/18 was given interview dates of 1/3 or 1/17.

UT-Houston for 1/7 (7:30 - 3:00), no alternate dates. The email was blank, the invite was in an attached memo.

I wish it was miami but they said blow me, I guess I'll have to settle for Greenville. By the way not only do you get about 700 interview dates to choose from but they take the time to book you a hotel on them, yeah you heard correct just show up and they'll take care of the rest. I wonder if I can get room service and maybe a message with a happy ending too.

UT-San Antonio offered 4 dates (15 each day): 12/8, 12/13, 12/16, or 1/10 with an "optional" gathering at the chairman's home the night before. Oh, and they also perform federal background checks on all interviewees "at no cost to us."

anybody want to trade their UTSA for Wash-U??

Also got UTSA for the above dates. Took Dec. 8.

Texas Tech by phone call for Dec. 6. The doctor who called was extremely nice and it was a welcome change from the traditional email.

If anyone is going to either of these let me know. It's nice to finally be back on this side after spending too much time on the rejection thread.

UTSA for Dec 8 - unless they find something on the background check---I knew that past career would come back to haunt me...

New Mexico by email for 1/7, 1/14, 1/21, and 1/28. Unfortunately I got the stiff armed by Colorado and Miami (2nd round).

Hey BlueBoner, are you a Michigan student?

Have a good weekend fellas (and ladies of course). I'm off to where the beer flows like...

New Mexico for the 7, 14, 21, and 28th.

Recieved the email this morning, it was sent yesterday morning, I guess it got lossed in cyberspace for awhile....never came to my ERAS messages...has anyone else experienced this

The same thing happened to me with UNM - I figured it was something wrong with my server or something. It also didn't make it to my ERAS box but none of the invites have - only the mass mailing rejections.

Cling-era,
I knew I should have told those 'Huskers you were a loser. I have some interesting things to share when I get back to tha 'Lou....

Weather in North Cakilaki......75 degrees, sunny, light wind, makes me wonder about our current/former No. 1 ???? (then again I am forced to watch the ABC feed of NC St. vs. Maryland instead of OU v TTech..yawn).

Anyone know of programs that have not sent out their first round of invites yet? I have yet to hear from about a quarter of the places I've applied.

I heard from residents at my school that a good number of invites came in December.

I wouldn't be worried about not hearing from quarter of the places yet.

When do invites absolutely stop coming in? I'm tired of waiting to buy some of my plane tickets not knowing if I may have to alter my plans for more desirable interviews.
