I am a current research fellow in the Laboratory for Regenerative Technologies with Dr. Wellington Hsu at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
In the coming months, Dr. Hsu will be looking for one or two students to fill the position of research fellow in his lab for the coming year. It is an incredibly productive year as by the end of the year I will have presented at multiple national and international meetings, authored multiple papers, and gained valuable experience in all aspects of both clinical and basic science research. Dr. Hsu is also an excellent mentor and provides invaluable advice for rotations, interviews, and other aspects of the match process.
Currently, he is looking for an MS3 who is interested in taking a year prior to 4th year to complete this research fellowship. In recent years, students who have done this have matched at top tier programs.
