The Orthopaedic Trauma division at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a US-based medical student to serve as our Clinical Research Associate for the 2025- 2026 academic year.
The Orthopaedic Department at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is the 5th ranked orthopaedic department in the nation according to US News and World Report and #1 in California. Members of the Orthopaedic Arthroplasty team are Rebecca Burr, Guy Paiement, Brad Penenberg, Sean Rajaee, Andrew Spitzer, and Mark Wu.
Our Arthroplasty Clinical Research Associate will work to develop, execute, and publish original scientific research over the course of the year. They will assist with regulatory submissions to the IRB and contribute to prospective research studies involving limited patient interaction and data entry into electronic systems like REDCap. They may have opportunities for clinical exposure in the clinic and operating room. The associate will be a Cedars-Sinai employee and compensated accordingly.
We seek a motivated student who can self-motivate, is organized and task-oriented, and has the ability to learn new skills. The ideal candidate is a current 3rd year student who desires a year between 3rd and 4th year for research. Other medical students will be considered, but we are unable to provide visas.
