Baylor vs. Campbell Clinic

everyone that i met last year that dealt with these programs would choose campbell clinic hands down. people had great things to say about the program. also, i think by academic reputation, campbell clinic is a better choice. hope that helps.

By reputation, I think I would probably go with Cambell Clinic, but you have to ask yourself where you have a better shot of matching? If you are from a southern or southwest med school, you may want to go with the regionalism aspect and jump on Baylor. Just trying to give you a little more to rack your brains about.

At Campbell Clinic you will work your arse off with alotta trauma, but great guys and attendings. Also got the feel that at least for PGY-2 they're saying "80 hours what?"

You'll work your ass off at both programs, but my overall feel when I was interviewing/studying programs was that Campbell clinic was hard early, but got progressively better while Baylor is pretty tough throughout. Campbell definitely has the better reputation (does Baylor even have a permanent chair yet?). Houston is a better town than memphis, but that's just my opinion. Overall I'd go with campbell. You may or may not have a better shot at matching baylor. I think both are pretty long shots unless you rotated and impressed or are a super stud numbers wise and can charm their pants off interview day.
