The Cooper Bone & Joint Institute at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ invites applications for a one-year orthopaedic research fellowship position. We welcome applications from highly qualified individuals, including recent medical school graduates and current 3rd-year medical students considering a gap year for orthopaedic surgery research. This fellowship, guided by the Institute’s orthopaedic residency director and orthopaedic oncologist, Tae Won Kim, MD, and offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking to contribute to scholarly activity and enhance their academic knowledge. Primary

Responsibilities:


  • Development of IRB protocols
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Management of open studies and databases
  • Drafting and submission of manuscripts

Goal:
The main goal is to ensure a year of meaningful scholarly engagement, concurrently maximizing mentorship opportunities within our department. This approach aims to enhance the fellow's residency match application.

Qualifications:
We are seeking an extremely motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong academic record. Preference will be given to US MD/DO and US IMGs.
