So after reading the rejections list, there's a few places that are notorious for being lazy/rude/unprofessional enough to not notify applicants that they've gotten the big thumbs down or just the finger. I thought it'd be nice to start a list dedicated to whom not to expect a Christmas card...

I still haven't heard anything from the Florida programs, the Illinois programs, or UTSW.

I'll assume silence from Michigan is a big GFY.

Add Thomas Jefferson and Loyola.
Was kindly told that all invitations have already been sent out.
Was later sent the official rejection email from both programs. I guess they're not so bad afterall.

Not sure of Kalamazoo. Never returned my call!

I am couples matching, and my fiance has a whopping 42 offers to interview, so I sent out some mass e-mails to find some things out to over twenty programs. I'll keep you updated on what I hear. So far.

St. Louis U - offers in two to three weeks
Orlando - offering through the post man. So, keep your eyes peeled in the next few weeks.

That is all I have heard so far, but again will keep you guys updated. Best of Luck

Let's add Tulane in the Big Eazy to the list of "too good to notify applicants"

I have one thing to say to these programs:

Go straight to HELL!!

I looked through the invitations and rejections threads and have not seen any of the programs below listed. Anybody heard from these places???(Please note if it's your home school or you rotated since it puts you in a different category for consideration). Thanks.

-U of Alabama
-Rush
-Vanderbilt
-Union Memorial (Baltimore)
-Temple
-UVA (other than the supplemental)
-U of Pennsylvania

What about Oregon? I got an e-mail saying to read their contract and send an e-mail back saying I have read it.

Also, what about: UC-Davis, UCI, Stanford, Akron General, Univ. of Louisville, or Georgia programs (Atlanta Med Center, MCG, etc.).

BMP, I got the boot from Akron some time ago. So, maybe they are still considering your file I haven't heard from any of the GA schools yet. I e-mailed several today, though. I will let you know what they say. In the mean time, all of you have a wonderful thanksgiving. Try to forget about all of this crap for a day. God knows the people making the decisions that affect the rest of our lives are.

BMP,

I received an interview from Stanford this past week and they were offering both of their dates, so I'm not sure if there are spots left.

Louisville offered an interview 11/24. Only option was 1/10. Due to scheduling conflicts, I have already given up my spot. Good luck to whoever gets it.

Any word from Dartmouth? I haven't seen anything written and I know they have an interview date soon (12/10).

Info on some programs I have contacted, or that have called me:

Loma Linda - will invite in ~2 weeks
UC-I - on 11/23 said they plan on notifying "tomorrow"... which was yesterday...
Drew - running behind, hear from them in 2-3 weeks
Harbor - still reviewing, will give word in early Dec
Rush - only date to interview is 1/12, will give decisions in the next 3 weeks
Union - will notify mid to late Dec
Maryland - invites planned for Friday 11/26 (if you haven't heard yet, your app is still being reviewed. but that also means that you received an "A" from the first faculty reviewer. Need 2 A's to be invited.)
Drexel - hopefully next week
UTSW - offered to rotators/home students a month ago for 12/8
Stanford - was invited for 1/8 or 1/22, residency coordinator will be gone all this week.

Hope this helps. Good luck to all.

I contacted Emory on Wednesday 11/24. They said that they have offered all of their interview spots. They did offer a "Good luck" to help take the edge off.

I just heard back from miami. I guess you are going to have to ask them to get your rejection. Guess a mass e-mail is too much trouble.

Nope, but then again, I didn't apply to any of those programs. However, Miami told me I suck, but Orlando says they want me to come down, see Disney World, meet Minnie (who's going to throw some leg) before telling me whether or not I suck.

Has anyone heard positive news from UC Irvine? Some have posted rejections and I was just wondering if any offers to interview had been made? Thanks.
