How bad does this suck?

Here's a couples match horror story. My girlfriend and I were super psyched because we both received interviews from mayo clinic. She was supposed to leave today however and her flight was cancelled and we could not get her another flight to rochester or minneapolis that will get her their in time except for one that was $1340 (with the operator telling us that it was highly unlikely that she would actually get there since it had a connection in atlanta). She has an interview in NC that she has to make it back for so being stuck in atlanta may make her miss two interviews so she has basically decided to cancel her interview with them because there is no way she can make it. Their only other date is the same one as our home institution and she feels she must make this one as without their help their is no way she'd have an interview at a place like mayo...I'm supposed to leave tomarrow for my interview sat and basically I can go but can't rank it or cancel (which the coordinator said would be ok...she's been really nice and understanding) and lose $200. I'm leaning toward going still because we really liked this place and it would have been a top choice...and pray that maybe we can work something out at home...I would not go otherwise but basically the coordinator said it is too late to give my spot to someone else. Weather sucks....If i was home I'd drive her ass at 90mph to make it by 7am tomorrow, but i'm away interviewing myself...
