Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, is now accepting applications for a two-year, fully funded Orthopaedic Surgery Research Fellowship. This is a unique opportunity for medical students and graduates aspiring to match into orthopaedic surgery residency.

Note: This position was recently reopened following the expansion of our residency class to include a 4th resident position. Our previous research fellow has been promoted as a resident with our program.  

Fellowship Highlights:
-              Mentorship: Work directly with Dr. Jack Choueka (Chair) and Dr. Afshin Razi (Vice-Chair & Residency Program Director)
-              Research: Lead clinical projects with full department support
-              Academic Growth: Aim for 20-25 publications and 25+ national conference presentations
-              Education: Participate in resident conferences, cadaver labs, grand rounds, and journal clubs
-              Clinical Experience: Shadow orthopaedic attendings and residents
-              Leadership: Manage the Maimonides Summer Research Experience (MSRE) program
Program Details:
-              Duration: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027
-              Location: Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY
