Position: Research Coordinator Fellowship

The Missouri Orthopaedic Institute is seeking an ambitious recent graduate who is interested in pursuing a Research Coordinator Fellowship in preparation for Orthopaedic Surgery residency. Duties of the Research Coordinator will include:

• Coordinate all aspects of assigned research projects
• Prepare research protocols/applications (IRB, IACUC, HIPAA, etc.)
• Identify, consent, and act as a resource for study participants
• Collect data on research subjects via review of patient charts, imaging, etc. and maintenance of databases
• Coordinate University of Missouri varsity athletes for research studies

Specific prerequisites and characteristics of the Research Coordinator should include:

• Striving for a residency position in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Proven interest in research
• Strong academic record
• Extremely organized
• Detail oriented
• Takes responsibility for positive work atmosphere
• Articulate and communicative
• Intrinsically motivated
• Contributes to the rewarding MOI team culture
