Took it yesterday. Now can sit back and relax, no more boards for 2 and a half years.
In my opinion, NMS was harder than the actual test (about 10%). Every NMS test had 20 or so really oddball questions whereas I found maybe 20 total oddball questions on the actual test. Also, way less of annoying questions like what %age of X have Y, none of the multiple answers to questions. The test did have prob 15 questions with images (some of which were not very high quality). Know your peds and ob/gyn (ob especially) well. Also, a lot of oncology.
I don't work for Kaplan, but I think the QBank was directly on target for what I saw.
The released questions were probably about 10-15% easier than the actual test.
Also - they're doing 8 blocks of 46 questions now instead of 50 -- so you get a total of 368 for the day.
