It'll be a little tough for you, but if you do things right you can make it easy. YOU CAN MATCH. . . .keep that in mind.
1. Apply to a crap load of programs. I did 60. I concentrated my apps in MY region.
2. Don't waste money applying to top tier programs. . . .while I did get interviews at Harvard, Mayo, CCF, the majority of top tier programs gave me the stiff arm (HSS, Iowa, HJD, Pitt, etc)
3. Do one home and two away rotations. Do your aways at programs that you would be competitive to get into.
4. Get great letters on your ortho rotations and kick butt.
5. If you're really stressed about your step I score, take step II early and try to do really well.
6. and it helps to be a good guy/girl.
7. Other than that, your grades look good and you should be fine.
