Carol Lin, John Garlich, and Geoffrey Marecek.The selected Clinical Research Associate will work closely with faculty to develop, execute, and publish original scientific research throughout the year. Responsibilities include regulatory submissions to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), participation in prospective research studies with limited patient interaction, and data entry into electronic research platforms such as REDCap. The associate will also have opportunities for clinical exposure in both the outpatient clinic and operating room. This position is a paid role, and the associate will be employed by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.We are seeking a motivated, organized, and task-oriented student with strong self-direction and a willingness to learn new research skills. The ideal candidate is a current third-year medical student planning to take a dedicated research year between the third and fourth years of medical school.
