The Division of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics at Columbia University Medical Center invites 3rd year medical students to apply for the inaugural Columbia Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Research Fellowship, starting in the summer of 2022. This new position will be an exciting opportunity for highly motivated students who are interested in pursuing a career in Orthopedic Surgery. This research position offers opportunities in clinical and basic science research, as well as time spent alongside two full-time foot and ankle orthopaedists in the office and operating room. The research fellow will be expected to complete several research projects leading to publication and presentation. The research fellowship is new, and further details will come in the near future. At this time, prospective students are invited to apply immediately (in April 2022) for the position, to start this summer. A modest salary is included in the fellowship.
