1. Emory University / Grady Hospital (Trauma) Research Fellowship (Clinical Research)
This is a wonderful opportunity for a highly motivated person to strengthen their application for the Orthopaedic Surgery Match. The individual will work on numerous projects, including systematic reviews and on-going clinical projects. The fellow will gain experience in grant writing, study design, statistics, database building, and manuscript preparation. Frequent meetings with fellowship-trained traumatologists will enable early goal setting, and successful submission of abstracts to national and international orthopaedic meetings, and full-length manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals. The fellow will participate in morning trauma board-rounds with the faculty and residents, as well as monthly trauma research meetings.
