Although I haven't received any yet, I'm sure that we're all doomed to get a few. I thought it might be helpful to everyone to start this thread along with the invitation thread... a good way to tell these programs "GFY"
You got me beat. I got a jack high, and a thank you for taking the time to apply. No wait list, though. Just when I thought the rejection was tough, I find out I'm even more rejected than others who were rejected.
actually the silent treatment may mean they just haven't gotten to your app yet. I don't see why they would play courtesy favorites among everyone who they reject. Maybe they will have a second wave of interview dates for those who didn't receive the boot...which is the group I belong to. See it as a positive rather than a negative.
1. rejection from rochester (11/9)
2. no notice from wayne on pregnancy status (please refer to the last few messages which means they might not have gotten to my app yet)
"Thank you for your interest in our Program. Dr. Cummiskey has finished reviewing the nearly 200 ERAS applications we received this year. It's always difficult to narrow that list down to 20 or so when there are so many qualified candidates. Regrettably, you were not chosen for an interview. I wish you the best in your medical career.
