Seton Hall University/St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, under supervision of Dr. Arash Emami, chairman of Orthopaedic Surgery, and Dr. Vincent K. McInerney, Program Director, invites all interested and qualified individuals to apply for a "two-year" orthopaedic research fellowship position under the mentorship of Arash Emami, M.D., Ki Hwang, M.D., Kumar Sinha, MD., and Michael Faloon, MD. This is a salaried position that will begin on or before June 1, 2020 and is open to all candidates who will be medical school graduates by that time.
This presents an opportunity to work with national and international leaders, to assist with clinical trials, to gather and analyze data, to attend and present your work at regional and national conferences, and to prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Previous fellows have published multiple PubMed-listed articles and have presented at the annual meetings during their fellowships. This is an excellent way to improve your CV and increase your chance of matching to an orthopaedic residency. Almost all of the previous fellows have successfully entered U.S. orthopaedic residency programs.
