There has been some discussion lately in the forums about the "game," e.g. Program directors, residents, and physicians at a program saying things to you like, "you're a good fit," "we really like you," "hope you'll consider us strongly," "you have really good reviews" etc. Things of that nature.
I want to know if most people feel that invariably these comments can't be trusted, or if there are any situations, particularly with people who have already been through the match, where some stock could be invested in these comments. Does it make any difference if you were a rotator?
Any thoughts/insights about this "game" would be appreciated. Thanks.
