Orthopaedic Total Joint Research Fellowship 2014

The Center for Joint Preservation and Replacement at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore invites all interested and qualified individuals to apply for a "two-year" orthopaedic research fellowship position with Michael A. Mont, M.D., Ronald E. Delanois, M.D., and James Nace, D.O.

This is a salaried position that will begin on or before July 1, 2014 and is open to all candidates who will be medical school graduates by that time. It presents an opportunity to work with national and international leaders in the areas of total joint replacement and osteonecrosis, to assist with FDA trials of new drugs and devices, to gather and analyze data, to attend and present your work at regional and national conferences, and to prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Previous fellows have published multiple PubMed-listed articles and have presented at the annual AAOS meetings during their fellowships. This is an excellent way to improve your CV and increase your chance of matching to an orthopaedic residency. Almost all of the previous fellows, including IMGs, have successfully entered U.S. orthopaedic residency programs.
