Fellowship Description
We are excited to invite applications for a 1-year funded
Pediatric Orthopaedics Research Fellowship at
UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. This fellowship offers an immersive experience in academic pediatric orthopaedics, providing fellows with hands-on involvement in meaningful clinical research and opportunities for direct collaboration with faculty and residents in the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery.
As a full-time research fellow, you will:
- Design and execute retrospective and prospective clinical studies
- Prepare and submit IRB protocols
- Draft and revise manuscripts for publication
- Perform statistical analyses
- Collaborate with medical students, residents, and faculty
- Attend and present at quarterly research meetings
- Observe surgeries and outpatient clinics
Candidate Profile
- Medical student between their 3rd and 4th year
- Strong academic record and a genuine interest in pediatric orthopaedics
- Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
- Prior research or publication experience preferred but not required
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
