We are excited to invite applications for a 1-year funded Pediatric Orthopaedics Research Fellowship at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. This fellowship offers an immersive experience in academic pediatric orthopaedics, providing fellows with hands-on involvement in meaningful clinical research and opportunities for direct collaboration with faculty and residents in the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery.

As a full-time research fellow, you will:

• Design and execute retrospective and prospective clinical studies
  
• Prepare and submit IRB protocols
  
• Draft and revise manuscripts for publication
  
• Perform statistical analyses
  
• Collaborate with medical students, residents, and faculty
  
• Attend and present at quarterly research meetings
  
• Observe surgeries and outpatient clinics
  

Candidate Profile

• Medical student between their 3rd and 4th year
  
• Strong academic record and a genuine interest in pediatric orthopaedics
  
• Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
  
• Prior research or publication experience preferred but not required
  
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
