I am a doctoral student at Northcentral University.  As part of my doctoral dissertation, I am conducting a study to assess collaboration competency in physician residents who have participated in interprofessional education compared to those who have not.The study is for research purposes only.

On March 5th the orthopaedic community lost one of the most respected leaders, innovators and mentors. Cy Frank passed away unexpectedly at the age of 65. Cy was more than the CEO of Alberta Innovates - Health Solutions, a professor of medicine at the University of Calgary, a founder of the Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute and all the countless leadership roles he has been passionate about over the years. He was an incredible mentor and the reason I became an orthopaedic surgeon.

Looking for medical students to help author a free eBook on musculoskeletal medicine for medical students

The Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons, in collaboration with the US Bone and Joint Initiative has initiated a project to compose an eBook textbook for medical students in musculoskeletal medicine. The aim is to make it unmatched by any other comparable source by making it free and peer reviewed.

Orthogate is back with a new look. We have separated our site into two main sections - For Professionals and For Patients so that we could better organize how we provide content and resources to our community. This was a large upgrade and if you run into any issues with your logins or posting on the forums please let me know. We are still finishing up some of the new resources like the Fellowship Program reviews and comprehensive listings for Specialists.
