This course has been the standard in teaching lower extremity alignment for the past two decades. It is designed for orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists and allied health professionals who treat long-bone deformities. No prior experience is required. The internationally renowned faculty will introduce basic and advanced limb reconstruction concepts, including corrective osteotomies, limb alignment, limb lengthening and internal and external fixation. The course features lectures, deformity planning sessions, hands-on saw bone labs and a digital radiograph planning lab. Participants will also have an opportunity to present adult, pediatric and podiatric cases to their peers.

Reminder: If you are attending the four-day Baltimore Limb Deformity Course, you will need to bring an iPad, as one will not be provided during the digital planning sessions using the Bone Ninja app.

Bone Ninja is an iPad app teaching tool developed by Dr. Shawn Standard and Dr. John Herzenberg at the International Center for Limb Lengthening. It is designed to help surgeons learn to analyze long bone deformities. Bone Ninja comes pre-loaded with radiographs of normal legs and deformed legs. You can analyze the provided cases or upload your own. Once your analysis is complete, you can then use the cut-out tool to try different osteotomy solutions. Bone Ninja is not presented as a clinical tool, but rather an educational tool. It will not "automatically" analyze deformities.

Please note that you will receive a free download with your registration.
