Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship 2014-15 - One (1) non-accredited fellow

As a result of increased patient volume and additional opportunities made available through a partnership with The Christ Hospital, The Beacon Orthopaedic Research & Education Foundation’s Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship has an opening for one (1) non-accredited fellow. The fellow would be afforded the same opportunities, training, and exposure as accredited fellows.

Established ACGME Accredited Program Seeking
One (1) Non-Accredited Fellow*
08/1/14 through 7/31/15

Under the guidance of Fellowship Director, Timothy E. Kremchek, MD, Board Certified and Fellowship Trained Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine surgeon, the fellow will rotate together with accredited fellows and be offered the training and experience needed for a successful and rewarding career in orthopaedic sports medicine. Curriculum includes diagnostic care and surgery, high school/college team coverage including the coordination of care with athletic trainers and physical therapists, and research opportunities.

Beacon is the official medical provider to the Cincinnati Reds. All fellows will gain hands-on experience caring for the professional athlete at Spring Training in Goodyear, AZ and during the regular season.

$50,000 annual salary + reimbursement of licensing & credentialing fees, paid professional liability insurance, and medical/dental insurance at employee rates

*Must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Orthopaedic Surgery, be a graduate of a medical school in the U.S.A. accredited by the ACGME (or ECFMG equivalent); and have or be able to obtain a full unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio.
