The Less Exposure Surgery Specialists Institute seeks to stimulate interest, knowledge, and investigative work by students in medicine,  to conduct research projects related to clinical orthopedics, biomechanics and trends in surgical healthcare.

The LESS Institute is seeking students who are interested in orthopedics for a one year research fellow position to assist with research focusing on orthopedic surgery, with an additional focus on upper extremity research (shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist pathologies). There will also be a component of general orthopedics as well as spine. This opportunity allows you to work with orthopedic surgeons both in the clinic and also the surgical setting.
