The American Hip Institute is pleased to offer four (4) comprehensive Hip Preservation Fellowship Program positions for the 2023-2024 academic year(s). This highly specialized fellowship prepares trainees for a focused niche practice in Hip Preservation. Fellows with academic interests benefit from the strong research program, based in a collaborative learning environment. The fellowship is ideally suited for trainees graduating from a prior sports medicine or adult reconstruction fellowship, who wish to obtain further training in a secondary subspecialty program. However, application is also open to exceptional graduating residents.

12-month fellowship based in central Toronto with a mixture of sports, arthroplasty and trauma. Working alongside Dr. Veillette, Dr. Leroux, and Dr. Paul you will be exposed to complex shoulder and elbow procedures, including primary and revision arthroplasty, superior capsule reconstruction, tendon transfers, and fracture fixation. The fellow will participate in clinics, ORs, teaching rounds, and research. This fellowship is closely linked with the University of Toronto Sports Medicine Fellowship and combined opportunities for teaching, case exposure and research are available.

Cleveland Clinic Florida Visiting Research Fellow Program: Levitetz Department of Orthopaedic Surgery

University of Minnesota/HealthPartners offers an exceptional opportunity for a multi-disciplinary Geriatric Orthopedic Trauma fellowship, under fellowship director, Dr. Julie Switzer.  We have this position available for the 2021-2022 academic year and beyond.  This fellowship is a twelve month unique training experience in the operative and clinical management of geriatric orthopedic trauma patients. 

This fellowship focuses on adult LLD, malunions, nonunions, segmental bone defects, osteomyelitis, rotational muscle flaps, and joint infections. Fellows will learn to determine current LLD, evaluate limb alignment, and analyze single and multiapical deformities. The Adult Clinical Fellow will rotate with Dr. Janet Conway and Dr. Michael Assayag for eight months and with our pediatric orthopedists for a total of four months.

Duration: 1 year (August 1 to July 31)
Salary: $66,955/year plus benefits
