A one year full time clinical research position is available starting August 1, 2009 under the direction of an orthopaedic attending. This experience is designed for preferably a medical student who has finished their third year and is looking to strengthen an already strong application for an orthopaedic residency.

The student will be involved with an array of clinical research projects examining all facets of total hip and knee arthroplasty. Basic science opportunities are also available. Daily activities will include project planning, data collection and analysis, writing and institutional review board application management. Participation in the operating room and clinics is an integral part of the fellowship and will allow the student to develop their clinical skills. Thank you all for your inquiries. We have had a very impressive number of applicants, all very well-qualified. We have filled this spot from the pool of applicants for this upcoming 2009-2010 academic year, and will not be considering any other applicants for this cycle. We would be willing to consider applicants for the 2010-2011 academic year on a rolling basis, so please let us know if you are interested.
