Step 1 233. Just got Step 2 score today with disappointing results of 236. I'm tellin' ya man I STUDIED for this mofo. Its a 99 and I know its a decent score but... c'est la vie.

Bottom line, borderline Step 1 with no improvement in Step 2. Should I release it?

I probably shouldn't have put the poll in, seems to de-legitimize my question.

Really would it be a good idea to release this score or not? I've heard so much that if you take Step 2 you must improve by a significant amount. 236 is not significant, and is barely higher than the national mean of 230.

Should I release the score or no?

I think if you take it you almost have to report it. Especially since you put down when you scheduled the test, so schools will know that you should have a score.

Anyways, most schools now use Step 2 for rank list, or so I've heard.

You did fine on both tests, not that I know anything. As long as Step 2 didn't drop, who cares.

230's is not a bad score.. it's average for ortho...

Reporting two values is good..it shows consistency..
