Well I just found out that one of my letter writers refuses to fill out any of the supplemental eval forms that programs like Vandy, Wash U -st.louis, Univ ofWashington and others require. He is pretty well known so I sent his letter everywhere. Now I realize that I have wasted $100 because I will not be considered at those programs. I realize that he probably writes many letters and this is a huge pain but ... I don't have anyone else to switch as a writer for those spots. Anyway just needed to vent.

You can switch your letters on ERAS at any time. They don't download the info yet anyway.

From the ERAS website:

# At any time, you may change your LOR and personal statement assignments.

# You may de-assign a personal statement to a program and assign a new personal statement in its place.

# You may de-assign letters of recommendation to a program and assign new letters of recommendation in their place.

# If a program has already downloaded a document that you de-assign, they may have printed out a hard copy. Do not assume they will not be able to reference it in the future.

# Changes to document assignments or track selections for programs that have been previously applied to are submitted immediately.
