Hi all,
Just received this new message and data from the NRMP ("An earlier version of “Charting Outcomes in the Match, 2009” contained errors in the data for a some specialties that also affected the data for “All Specialties Combined”.)

This is the data for US Senior Med Students Matched and Unmatched
1. Mean number of contiguous ranks 11.5 5.6
2. Mean number of distinct specialties ranked 1.1 1.4
3. Mean USMLE Step 1 score 238 221
4. Mean USMLE Step 2 score 241 222
5. Mean number of research experiences 2.7 2.5
6. Mean number of abstracts, presentations, 4.1 2.7
publications
7. Mean number of work experiences 2.5 2.8
8. Mean number of volunteer experiences 5.8 4.9
9. Percentage who are AOA members 27.8 3.8
10. Percentage who graduated from one of 37.0 24.1
the 40 U.S. medical schools with the highest
NIH funding
11. Percentage who have Ph.D. degree 2.6 1.3
12. Percentage who have another graduate 10.4 18.4
degree
