i want to do an elective in NYC at one of the above places.
Any one rotated at these places....did you get to interact with the attendings often?......any other comments concerning rotations at these places will be helpful.

If you think that your application will make you competitive for Mt Sinai or Columbia, then Einstein is not the place for you. The program is nowhere near the same level as the others. However, if you're looking for programs in NYC, consider Lenox Hill. Great attendings, big names, good group of residents, beautiful hospital, and a nicer neighborhood. Though, it is a much smaller program (only 2 per year).
