I rotated there this past August and had a blast. Knowing that its a bit of a reach for me made me want to rotate all the more. I ended up getting an interview, although they don't interview all rotators.
Its setup so that you do 1 week on peds (Dr. Frick the program director does peds, so you work with him). Then you do a week on spine/tumor (Dr. Hanley the chair is spine and Dr. Patt who is on the selection committee is spine/tumor). Then you do a week on trauma (and they have some big names there) and then a week with the OrthoCarolina private guys - joints, sports, hand and foot and ankle.
You take call 1 friday/sunday and one saturday, and then roughly once a week during the week. Its busy and you learn a ton. The conferences each morning are great and again, you will learn a lot. I got to the OR quite a bit and the support staff were all very nice to me and even learned my name in the few weeks I was there.
Just keep in mind they start taking apps for away rotations in early March I believe, and the spots fill up fast. I would highly recommend rotating there.
