It seems like rotating is a big factor. Let's see the numbers...
Results (total votes = 37):
I matched at my home program 10 / 27.0%
I matched at a place where I did an away ortho rotation 10 / 27.0%
I matched at a place where I did not rotate 17 / 45.9%
