Hi guys!

I'm buckling down for step I now, and I was wondering if anyone has thoughts about using DIT. I gave it a try and it seems like a mere read-through of First Aid (FA). They do have a workbook with seemingly high-yield stuff (based on FA) that needs to be memorized, but other than that, I'm not sure if just going through this method is a good use of time. Thoughts?

Any experience with Pathoma as well?

It seemed like a huge time sink for me. I did it for the first day and then bailed. My time was better spent on UWorld questions. But I'm definitely a question-based learner.

I did not do DIT but knew some friends who did. I agree that it may be helpful but takes up a lot of time to do and basically is just "teaching" First Aid. It is good for "completeness" so you don't miss any little areas (psych, biostats, epidemiology, genetics, etc). I used Pathoma and loved it. Definitely recommend it - pathology is a huge part of the test. Don't neglect the small areas if you want to do really well on the test, but focus on path.

I agree, I tried DIT for 1 day during my 6 weeks study period and felt like I was wasting time. However, I do know several of my classmates that used DIT and scored 240+
