Grand Rapids is a incredible program. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience when I was there several years ago (I am a PGY3 elsewhere now). I highly recommend that program.
I do not have first hand experience on UAB, but I had a classmate who rotated there and enjoyed it, but it was not his first choice.
